Q: How are you able to sell cabochons for only one dollar?
A: Great question! Its hard to believe huh? We work with several families and are involved in several stages of the supply chain. We buy in very large quantity. We also keep our overhead low and try to pass along the value of low prices to our customers.
Q: How much is shipping?
A: We charge a flat $5 for USA shipping unless you spend $100+ it is free
Q: Where are you located?
A: Doerun, Georgia. Our physical store (by appointment only) is called “Naturally Cool Gems and Jewels”.
Q: How do you send mail?
A: At the moment we exclusively use USPS. Ground advantage or Priority mail.
Q: How long will it take me to receive my order?
A: We ship on a daily basis and pride ourselves on shipping quickly. Ground advantage is 2-5 days and priority mail is 2-3. Of course USPS does mess up occasionally, but they get it right a vast majority of the time. We try to have your order in the hands of USPS within 1-2 business days of placing the order.
Q: Can I request certain shapes, sizes etc?
A: Part of the $1 deal is that you understand your stone is chosen intuitively. Not calibrated sizes. Some materials we may be better suited to accommodate certain requests (like ring size, certain shapes, etc). For the most part we try and send a good mix depending on quantity ordered. Please leave a note on the purchase page specifying any ideal preferences, but know we operate based on availability.
